| 17 weeks. Pardon the partial nudity. I guess I lost all sense of modesty with all those violating OB checkups and anticipating the hospital birth scene. |
| 20 weeks. I think. I didn't keep track well or take pictures on a regularly basis - just whenever I felt like it or remembered or had just come home from a run :) |
Being that it was summertime, I got really swollen (or fat? Some combo of fat and swollen :) I had to take my wedding ring off in May (babies were born in August), and didn't get to put it back on til October.
Near the end - especially the last week - I had a tough time sleeping. I would wake up with my hands all tingly, and burning. I would ask my husband for ice packs, or go stick my hands in the freezer. Never figure out the explanation for that weird side effect.
But I know many mothers of twins have to go on bedrest and have much more physical problems than this. But I'm here to say - it doesn't have to happen! Some people sail through twin pregnancies - so there's hope! :)
